As Chief of Police, I present to you the following: Mission, Vision, and Core Values Statement.

Mission

To provide a professional Police service and partnerships with the citizens of McKenzie.  To utilize Community Policing philosophies and strategies when trying to identify problems and solutions in order to enhance the quality of life and safety of our community.  Dedicate ourselves to protecting life and property, enforcing the law fairly and equitably; maintaining peace and order while assuring fair and equal treatment for all concerned.

To Obtain a Police Report

If you have been the victim of a crime or involved in a traffic accident, the information below will aid you in obtaining a copy of a police or crash report.

Reports can be obtained through the McKenzie Police Records Department located at 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, TN.

Business hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday.

There will be a charge for retrieving police reports that have been previously archived. Cost will be based on the amount of time used to obtain these reports.


McKenzie City Court

McKenzie City Court is held every Monday (excluding holidays) in the McKenzie Municipal Building located at 2470 Cedar Street, McKenzie, beginning at 4:00 PM.

The Honorable Charles Trotter presides over the McKenzie Municipal Court Systems. Carol Barker is the City Court Clerk.

You may choose to pay the citation (forfeit) and not attend the court proceedings. This must be done before the court date located at the bottom of your citation.  Payments of cash, money order, cashiers and personal checks made payable to the McKenzie Police Department will be accepted. Fines can be mailed to the McKenzie Police Department, P.O. Box 160, McKenzie, TN 38201, or paid in person at the Police Department between the hours of 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM  Monday - Friday.
